(1) I will review, together with you, your target customers (buyer persona) or your target audience (if you are a not-for-profit).  Together, we will identify their most relevant traits and interests using inbound marketing principles as our guidance. (2) I will help you formulate your offering as a “problem – solution” statement(s) to make your prospects recognize their problems while they are browsing through your web page. (3) We will compose your website page story – a consistent narrative that moves your visitor through your page like a plot moves a reader / watcher through a book or movie. (4) I will translate this narrative into specific page elements with detailed instructions for your designers, developers and copywriters, including relevant CTA placement and usability to make your visitors feel comfortable. This website page plan document will serve as a clear and precise instruction for your team to implement the page just as it should be (Note: I know how to speak to developers “in their language”). If you don’t have a team to technically build or update your website, I will find a good one for you. (5) I will supervise your team through implementation doing acceptance testing and making sure all is designed and built correctly before submitting it for your final review.

Note from 2024: currently AI can be used to help complete many of the above tasks (like copywriting) with better efficiency. Still, giving effective instructions to an AI doesn’t differ that much (by my experience) from giving effective instructions to humans. Happy to help you with it if you want to employ an AI to improve your speed and efficiency.
